Long forgotten, this is a top vineyard with grey, finely weathered slate. The winery cultivates three smaller plots on this site.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h4>Info about the expansion<\/h4>\n<div>\n<p>Spontaneous fermentation without the use of clarifying agents or \"fining agents\", \"racking\" of the wine in a cooler section of the cellar to interrupt fermentation, exactly 1 barrel, bottling in April.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h4>Colour<\/h4>\n<div>\n<p>Light golden yellow with clear green reflections.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h4>Nose<\/h4>\n<div>\n<p>The 2022 Wolfer Sonnenlay Riesling Kabinett from Weiser-K\u00fcnstler initially conveys clear earthy and slatey notes and demands to be decanted. After sufficient aeration, aromas of grapefruit wedges tossed in sugar, lime, green apple and exotic gooseberry as well as distinct cassis emerge. Its depth and fantastic development potential can already be recognised on the nose.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h4>Palate<\/h4>\n<div>\n<p>Sweetness and acidity dance the round dance in this Riesling, accompanied by a pronounced spiciness and a structure with a fine grip. Thanks to its finesse and the extremely moderate alcohol content of 7.5 vol%, this is certainly more than just a glass of pure drinking pleasure!
