The bouquet is a prime example of the Mediterranean elegance of Provence: Sour cherries<\/strong> and Black cherries<\/strong> dominate, supported by juicy Blueberries<\/strong> and Blackberries<\/strong>. Subtle notes of Cinnamon<\/strong> and Proven\u00e7al Herbs<\/strong> give the wine its regional identity. Despite its southern ripeness, this Grenache retains a remarkable freshness - a credit to Peter Fischer's meticulous cellar work.<\/p>\n The true class of this wine is revealed on the palate. Acid<\/strong> has plenty of pulling power and keeps the dark fruit in perfect balance. The fruit flavours are crisp and firm to the bite, never overripe or jammy. The Tannin<\/strong> is ripe and accessible, but offers enough grip for structure. This is not an intellectual wine, but a easy-drinking, grippy Grenache<\/strong>which invites you to enjoy it immediately.<\/p>\n The grapes come from 30 hectares of vineyards near Jouques, in the shelter of the legendary Montagne Sainte-Victoire. The 28-day mash fermentation<\/strong> in 500 litre barrels at a controlled temperature of 25-27\u00b0C and the eight-month ageing in used demi-muids<\/strong> give the wine its harmonious structure without excessive wood influence.<\/p>\n Perfect for Grilled lamb ribs with a lemon-honey glaze<\/strong>, Basmati with lamb and sultanas<\/strong> or stuffed red peppers<\/strong>.
