The vines for this ros\u00e9 are planted at Seehof, Panholzerhof and Mazzon between 250 and 500 m above sea level on strong clay soils, on limestone gravel and other glacial rock deposits. Harvested from mid-September to the end of October, La Rose de Manincor is a juice drawn from the best batches of red wine, the composition of which changes slightly from year to year. After 6 to 12 hours of maceration, the must ferments spontaneously with its own yeasts in wooden barrels, where the wine is then aged for a further five months.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h4>Colour<\/h4>\n<div>\n<p>Light salmon pink with bright reflections.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h4>Nose <\/h4>\n<div>\n<p>The 2022 La Rose de Manincor is surprisingly restrained on the nose, considering its grape variety list. Instead of the expected fireworks of aromas, it convinces with the serious appearance of a seriously produced wine that does not want to be relegated to the narrow plank of the terrace sole entertainer. Red berry fruits are delicately balanced by fine floral scents reminiscent of cherry and apple blossoms. Small raspberries, lime blossoms and the scent of a balmy summer evening quickly refill the cup.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h4>Mouth <\/h4>\n<div>\n<p>Youthfully taut with a defined stature, everything is in the right place in this Rose without an ounce of flab on the hip. The fruit is restrained on the palate and acts via extract rather than volume. The acidity is finely forfeited, the tannins silky and fluttering like Audrey Hepburn's headscarf on a summer convertible ride along the Amalfitana.
