\nThis white wine is truly perfumed, with subtle scents of clover, lemongrass and grapefruit, with additional hints of peach and apricot. Mixed in is a gentle woody note, with hints of butter and pineapple. Compared to many a lush Viognier, this one has a rare finesse, and its fragrance is reminiscent of a ripe Sauvignon Blanc.<\/p>\n
Taste
\nCoolness and warmth come together brilliantly in this wine, supported by an elegant wood note with butter, vanilla and pear aromas. The taste of ripe stone fruit, almonds and liquorice is infused with fresh acidity. Traces of lily of the valley, ripe gooseberries and with a little warming in the glass, a distinct hint of liquorice, round off the aromatic profile. This is a smooth, creamy wine with a voluminous body that can beautifully support a strong culinary accompaniment.<\/p>\n
