Consideration of the location and processing
\nThe extremely warm vineyards of Manincor and Panholzerhof in South Tyrol, situated at about 250 metres above sea level, offer a view of the lake and present themselves on sandy-loamy soils interspersed with limestone gravel and other glacial accumulations - perfectly suited for the production of exceptional red wines. The extraction and processing of these wines is an art in itself. They are vinified separately in wooden, concrete and stainless steel vats, partly spontaneously with their own yeasts. A careful ten-day maceration, during which the wine is only macerated once a day, ensures filigree, fine-grained tannins. The focus is always on freshness and fine precision. The process is rounded off by twelve months of storage in various wooden barrels.<\/p>\n

\nIn its aesthetic appeal, the 2020 R\u00e9serve del Conte is a rich cherry red with soft purple hues.<\/p>\n
Fragrant
\nOn the nose, the wine unfolds a range of floral and fruity notes, including blueberries, sour cherries, wild strawberries, ivy and roses. There are also subtle hints of foliage, porcini mushrooms, wood smoke and undergrowth, accompanied by the nuanced note of graphite that gives it structure and depth.<\/p>\n
Pallet
\nOn the palate, it tends towards fruit, but remains pleasantly airy and elegant. Its structure is velvety and polished. A cool, easy-drinking wine - a real pleasure, especially when accompanied by the tasty, spicy mountain cuisine of South Tyrol.<\/p>\n
Food recommendation
\nThis versatile wine pairs beautifully with dishes such as chicken breast wrapped in crispy South Tyrolean bacon and served with pearl barley vegetables. It also harmonises beautifully with an aubergine lasagne.
