The vines are over 65 years old. The basis is the year 2000 with R\u00e9serve wines from the years 1999, 1998, 1997 and 1996. The basic wine ferments in wooden barrels, a malolactic fermentation is renounced with Tarlant in principle. The wine is also aged in wooden barrels for four years. After the filling in 2001, the wine matured until the d\u00e9gorgement in February 2016. The dosage is 0 grams.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<h4>Colour<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>golden yellow with amber reflections; fine, very clear mousseux<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<h4>Nose<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>The Cuv\u00e9e Louis leaves from the first moment little doubt that this is an excellent champagne. The bouquet is very complex, yet pure, clear and marked by great aromatic depth. The cuv\u00e9e offers the smoky, front notes of new wood and various dimensions of fruit notes: juicy, ripe stone fruit, dried apricots, dates and figs, candied ginger and oranges as well as orange peel, vanilla, butterscotch, toasted almonds and hazelnuts. Although the tyre notes are initially in the foreground, however, the mineral lively note is the more important trait.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<h4>Palate<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>On the palate, the cuv\u00e9e is expansive and creamy, but also very dry. This results in a beautiful melange of warm, ripe tones and the cool clarity of a zero-dosage champagne. The Cuv\u00e9e Louis is vinous, lush and shows the slightly reductive smoky notes alongside the fruit.
