The studied guitarist and Germanist turned his passion into a passion and is always striving to find a common language for wine. The basics of sensory analysis are the foundation for his love of wine.  After his job as head sommelier at Steinheuer's restaurant Zur Alten Post (Michelin **, 19 GM), the \"Falstaff Sommelier of the Year 2012\" writes for Effilee, BEEF, the Welt Am Sonntag and other gourmet magazines and is always on the lookout for cultural-historical backgrounds and abysses. Numerous moderation jobs sharpen his profile as a wine entertainer.<br \/>\n        <br clear=\"both\"><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<h4>Color:<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<div>Dark purple with violet reflections and black core.<\/div>\n<div>\n<h4>Nose:<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<div>Tobacco, air-dried bacon and some cedar dominate the first nose of the 2010 Gombaude-Guillot Pomerol. After careful decanting, it gradually reveals its fruity side: cr\u00e8me de mure, blueberries, black cherries and cassis fill the olfactory fruit basket. Spicy notes of allspice, long pepper, black olives and bay leaf follow. A dense Pomerol which, at this youthful stage, is happy about every ounce of air.<\/div>\n<div>\n<h4>Mouth:<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<div>On the palate, the wine is initially fruity with lots of meat and juicy texture. The fruit dominates the nose, plums and black cherries, until the ethereal balsamic notes of spices such as pepper, mace and allspice directly penetrate. The tannins are ripe, tightly woven and almost fluffy like velvet.
