The wines of François Aquaviva, Jean-Marc and Manu Venturi uniquely combine continental freshness with Mediterranean ripeness, made possible by the exceptional altitude of the vineyards on sandstone, basalt, granite and blue slate. The 2021 Le Clos Blanc is produced purely from 100% Vermentinu.

Colour

Brilliant straw yellow with bright green reflections.

Nose

On the nose, the 2021 Le Clos Blanc by Clos Venturi is hedonistic and expansive with rich ripe fruit and Mediterranean herbal spice. Notes of ripe plump pears and cantaloupe melon are complemented by distinctive spicy notes of wild fennel and the sweetness of its pollen. A sprig of broom and some maquis complete the Corsican pleasure.

Mouth

The lush, juicy fruit on the nose is immediately disciplined by the wine's taut structure. Straightforward and almost crystalline, it flows across the palate, fuelled by the broadly stretched ripe acidity. Complex, clear as a bell and stimulating, it is punchy on the palate with lifted tension and rapid drinking flow.

Food recommendations from Sebastian Bordthäuser

Artichoke bottoms au gratin

Salad of tomatoes, peppers and crispy octopus

Crispy pork belly with wild fennel

🎨 Color: Brilliant straw yellow with bright green reflections.

👃 Aroman: Hedonistic and expansive with notes of ripe pears, cantaloupe melon, wild fennel and macchia.

👅 Taste: Rich and juicy on the palate, immediately disciplined with a tight structure, crystalline with a ripe acidity curve.

🎭 Character: Complex and clear as a bell on the palate, powerful with a high level of vigour and rapid drinking flow.

🍽️ Food recommendations: Artichoke bases au gratin, salad with tomatoes, peppers and crispy octopus, crispy pork belly with wild fennel.

✨ Special features: Pure variety from 100% Vermentinu, combines continental freshness with Mediterranean ripeness, from high altitudes with sandstone, basalt, granite and blue slate.

[1620
168,3564

0":"post-102336","1":"product","2":"type-product","3":"status-publish","4":"has-post-thumbnail","6":"product_brand-clos-venturi","7":"product_cat-korsika","8":"product_cat-wochenendweine","9":"pa_farbe-weiss","10":"pa_inhalt-750ml","11":"pa_jahrgang-3041","12":"pa_restsuesse-trocken","13":"pa_typ-wein","14":"show-hover","16":"first","17":"outofstock","18":"taxable","19":"shipping-taxable","20":"purchasable","21":"product-type-simple

Clos Venturi - Clos Venturi (le clos) Blanc AOC 2021

<meta name="description" content="Clos Venturi (le clos) Blanc AOC 2021 – Clos Venturi aus Korsika.
