The different site and the proportion of Mourv\u00e8dre make for a wonderfully wild character with a mixture of wild berries, olive tapenade, notes of meat, rust and cough syrup, but above all spices and herbs. There is a light tone of lambic beer with a sweetness that betrays the ripe vintage.<\/div>\n<div>\n<h4>Palate<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<div>The dark character is also evident on the palate, which is supported by a massive, but to the point matured tannin. The Syrah is fully in the juice; because the yields for this wine are low, the harvest time late, so that the grape variety comes along quite southern, powerful and dark. Nevertheless, a clear supporting acidity runs through the ripe fruit. In addition to the fruit, the strong herbal spiciness is distinctive here, with pepper, ground stone and dry wood mixed in.
