Color

Bright yellow with clear green reflections.

Nose

Due to its youth, the 2019 Pinot Blanc is still somewhat closed on the nose with distinct yeasty notes reminiscent of freshly baked white bread. With sufficient oxygen contact, fine fruit notes of peach, red apple and apricot skin emerge, accompanied by floral elderflower notes, a hint of anise and almonds. Already in the nose this wine captivates with its restrained elegance.

Palate

On the palate, it is juicy and animating to drink. Its acidity is fresh and extremely animating, a truly lively drop with a fine spiciness in the finish. A wine that can be combined with a whole variety of dishes and can virtually inspire them.

Food recommendations by Christina Hilker

  • Terrine of tomato and cucumber with dill and refreshing herb sour cream

    (Fish)
