Wine information
Most of the vineyards on the Haardtrand in the transition from the Rhine plain to the Palatinate Forest face east. However, in the sunshine, the Siebeldinger summer side is in the Queichtal, and it is exposed to the south. The vineyard is situated at 160 to 250 meters and has a slope of 5 to 20 %. The up to 40 years old Pinot Blanc stands, southwest oriented, on shell limestone soil from the Triassic. The wine was aged in stainless steel after slow pressing and spontaneous fermentation.
Color
medium straw yellow
Nose
The Pinot Blanc In the Sunshine appears full-bodied, ripe and juicy on the nose with notes of pears and stone fruit, melons and some tart notes of citrus - led by a little grapefruit. Underneath is a bed of cool, stony and herbal aspects.
Mouth
On the palate the Great Growth Very juicy and round with again ripe yellow and white-fleshed fruit in the entire pome and stone fruit range. The acidity presents itself ripe and lively at the same time, typical for the vintage. The Pinot Blanc has length and juiciness, and the acidity delivers a pleasant pressure to the palate.
