Info about the situation

South Tyrolean Pergel on very steep terrain. Loamy, sandy soil, relatively shallow, volcanic origin with a lot of quartzite slate.

Info about the expansion

Biodynamic without the help of tractors. 90 % Vernatsch, 10 % Lagrein, hand harvest, 24-hour maceration/spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel, then 50 % of the mass 4 days on Caroline's fermented mash in stainless steel. Maturation in stainless steel and large wood until bottling in March 2022.

Color

Slightly cloudy pomegranate red with pink and violet reflections.

Nose

Many herbal notes such as wild mint, sage and thyme beguile the nose, underpinned by wild raspberries, blackberries, cassis, cranberries and cranberries. A fruity, light play of aromas that animates the nose to take the first sip.

Palate

The 2021 Vino Rosso Leggero drifts skilfully between a light red wine and a full-bodied rosé - and it is above all fun. Because herbs and a delicate tannin come into play, we are not only dealing with an unbelievably stimulating wine, but also with a wine that can be enjoyed in large quantities, chilled solo or with delicacies. Once again, a feel-good wine from Martin Gojer is in the glass, which is a joy to drink.
