The whole wine communicates to the inclined drinker primarily in the imperative and leaves you no choice but to finally bring the cup to your lips. - The Pranzegg winery is named after the estate where Martin Gojer has been producing his wines since 2009 as a reflection of their origin, the vintage and the family's way of life.

The Pranzegg winery is named after the estate where Martin Gojer has been producing his wines since 2009 as a reflection of their origin, the vintage and the family's way of life. Above the Bolzano valley basin, Gojer's vineyards are farmed biodynamically by hand, and in the cellar, too, less is more Long fermentation and long maturation periods on full lees with the addition of only small amounts of sulphur characterise the wines, which are always bottled unfined and unfiltered.

The Vino Rosso Leggero consists of 90% Vernatsch with 10% Lagrein, the previously included part Merlot is omitted, as the plants have been re-grafted with Gewürztraminer.

Color

Bright cherry red.

Nose

The 2020 Vino Rosso Leggero by Martin Gojers Pranzegg already shows itself extremely cheeky on the nose and really goes for it - the flawless cherry entices so blatantly full-ripe and juicy that one's tooth immediately begins to drip. The whole wine communicates to the drinker mainly in the imperative and leaves you no choice but to finally bring the cup to your lips.

Mouth

The cheeky little fruit has not laid on too thick and rewards with a standing foot. The bubbling cherry fruit on the palate is flanked by the finest tannins, which delicately line the edge of the tongue instead of acting as a guardrail. If you like, you may think of sage or laurel at this point, but you must not lose sight of the fill level of your glass, otherwise the others will be quicker. Otherwise, the wine has little subtlety, but is characterised by generally hedonistic drinking traits that would definitely qualify it as an Olympic drink. A wine with rally stripes.
