Wine information
Gracefully situated on the gently curving slopes around Alcamo, across the original homeland of Trapani, is the important parcel of Grillo called Giardinello di Rapitalà. This unique location, nestled at an altitude of 600 to 700 metres towards the north, allows for even ripening and promotes the harmonious expression of the grape variety's characteristic aromas.
Expansion information
A meticulous temperature-controlled maceration for 24 hours gives the pressed grapes their expressiveness. A spontaneous fermentation in steel tanks is followed by six months of ageing on the lees before the wine reaches the market.
Color
Deep, luminous golden yellow, interspersed with an orange sheen.
Aroma
The Grillo 2021 literally jumps out of the glass, unfolding its bouquet with a variety of citrus aromas, sage, lemon balm and tart nuances of grapefruit and lemon peel. The bouquet is lively and summery, spiced with spicy hints that evoke delight and heighten the anticipation of the first sip.
Taste
A true charmer on the palate, tangy and refreshing, it unfolds with rich citrus notes. The taste sensation is at once lively and wonderfully dry, balanced between fruit, invigorating acidity and a subtle bitterness on the finish. An ideal partner for delicious dishes of Italian cuisine. Its outstanding price-performance ratio makes it all the more attractive.
