Color
Intense ruby red with an opaque core and violet rim, the wine appears clear and bright in the glass.
Nose
The dark, sheer sinister, cherry fruit of this fervent Garnacha is immense in its variety and density. It ranges from sour cherry to ripe black heart cherries to morello cherries from the glass with green cracked pepper. There is also woodsy, berry fruit from blackberries and blueberries. All of this is layered with a gauzy, yet not forced, dark chocolate glaze. Subtle smokiness and a pleasant aroma of summer truffles bring depth and spice.
Palate
On the palate, this round dance is repeated. Dark berry fruit with peppery spice and earthy depth trump in alternation skillfully and are yet in mutual harmony. The acidity of the 2016 TROSnegre "Notaria" from Alfredo Arribas, which is corresponding to the vintage, is animating but coherent in the overall picture, and despite its concentrated power, it has an elegant appearance and a great plus in drinking pleasure.
High pleasure with thirteen and a half horsepower.
