Color
Dense, sparkling cherry red with black, violet reflections.
Nose
The 2010 Triumvirat is a beguiling wine that seduces with aromas of sweet wild raspberries, candied black cherries, cassis, cassis liqueur and blueberry compote. In addition to the distinct fruit-driven aromatics, there are also herbal and spicy scents reminiscent of elderwood, sage, toasted rosemary, wood smoke and licorice. Hints of violet and lavender give it a feminine touch.
Palate
On the palate, the 2010 Triumvirat seems refreshing despite the higher alcohol and the sweetish fruit; almost light-footed, which it owes to the skilful vinification and the cool note of the slate. A wine that provides uncomplicated pleasure and goes well with strong dishes.
