Color:
Dark purple with a violet rim and black core, the wine is clear and shiny in the glass.
Nose:
Dense and unadorned, the dark aromas of this Mallorcan cuvée of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and the autochthonous Callet invite you to discover. The fine fruity scents of blackberry, blueberry and cranberry rise from the thicket of dark bushes. These are enriched by coffee cherry and roasted beechnuts, as well as Assam tea, black pepper and a breath of bergamot.
Palate:
Mesquida Mora's 2015 Trispol playfully manages to project the dark berry fruit of the nose unadulterated onto the palate, without mutating into a broad heavyweight in idleness. For all the spice it retains, soft tannins and a vitalising acidity on the palate contribute a freshness that is essential to the wine's balance, allowing the glass to empty quickly.
