Color

The wine is bright golden yellow with white-gold reflections clear and shiny in the glass.

Nose

In its mischievous, slightly impetuous way, this pure Trebbiano from the amphora of the foothills of Abruzzo is an ode to its origins. Radiating relaxed equilibrium, a pot of white tea is first poured in peace...

White-fruited aromas of stewed pears, gooseberries and fig mustard as well as the scent of bright flowers, fresh wheat grass and green hazelnuts are complemented by a subtle exoticism of tonka bean and turmeric fennel tea.

Palate

When drunk, Francesco Cirelli's 2018 Trebbiano d'Abruzzo is an extremely elegant, restrained and, above all, precise wine. Playful, cool and juicy fruit, driven by refreshing acidity and a hint of bittersweet phenolic, primarily reflects grape variety character and origin than the making of this wine. Without any compromises, this is the successful and puristic realization of the intention to bottle Trebbiano exactly as it tastes when you just leave it alone.
