Wine information
Terroir Sense Fronteres is the Montsant project of Terroir al Límit, Dominik Huber's Priorat vineyard. In fact, however, the Montsant vineyard Montals is only a stone's throw away from Huber's Priorat vineyard Les Manyes. The Garnacha and Cariñena grapes, which are used for the Negre are from vineyards in Capçanes. They were fermented as whole grapes in stainless steel.

Nose
One is quickly captivated by this cool and juicy, wild and tart red wine, which directly triggers the mental cinema if one has ever been to Montsant or Priorat. The Negre de Montsant still seems slightly yeasty and thus already offers a slight sweetness in the bouquet, which is accompanied by a ripe and juicy cherry fruit and blackberries, pomegranate and dark raspberry. At the same time, however, there is also the astringency of dark tobacco and undergrowth, the scent of the maquis, laurel and a little liquorice.
Palate
On the palate, the wine offers a striking texture and a ripe, dark purple and immensely juicy fruit, which in turn is accompanied by a little liquorice and yeast. This southern wine comes across as very sensual and warm, at the same time it is infused with cool acidity, and alongside the fruit there is a little earth, crushed stone and dry wood.
