Wine information
The Yellow Muscat 2019 comes from the vineyard Ried Steinbach Fürst, a 1st STK vineyard, which has its roots in red sand. The wine was spontaneously fermented down to 2.9 grams RZ at 5.9 grams tBs. The Steinbach Prince lay on the fine lees in steel tanks for 22 months. It is the only Tement wine that is aged exclusively in stainless steel.
Color
Light straw yellow with yellow and silver reflections
Nose
It is always a feast to have this wine in the glass; for alongside all the offensive fruit, the Yellow muscatel fine, elegant and full of finesse. It smells of kaffir lime leaves and limequats, of elderflower and white cassis, of lemongrass, of a little ginger and passion fruit and cool rock flour.
Palate
On the palate the 2019s Steinbach Prince tonic, powerful and mineral, stony, cool and elegant. The aforementioned fruit aromas are also evident here. But here, too, nothing seems loud or aggressive, but noble and coherent. The wine seems complex and yet it is light and energetic, juicy with the fruit of cassis and mirabelle, tart and spicy with an impressive length and potential for at least a decade.
