The blend of 90% Grenache Gris and 10% Grenache Noir was macerated over 3 weeks.
Color
Clouded garnet red.
Nose
The aroma is extremely seductive, freshly crushed raspberries on ice, sour cherries, blueberry jelly and elderberry combine with countless fresh herbs such as wild mint, sage and rosemary. Yeasty notes are omnipresent and the tart-sweet impression of the nose makes it seem incredibly animating and sexy. Hints of incense, rosehip tea and liquorice complete its inspiring aromatic play.
Palate
The 2020 Tattouine Rouge from Tom Lubbe is best drunk slightly chilled, which underlines its extremely refreshing character and its invigorating acidity. Its polished, ripe tannin structure sets delicate spicy accents, its accentuated minerality lays down on the tongue with plenty of saltiness. The only danger with this wine is that one bottle will not be enough - so plan to drink enough of this tasty treat with only 10 vol%.
