Info
Spontaneous fermentation, ageing in large wooden barrels.
Color
Sparkling, light golden yellow.
Nose
The 2019 Blaue Silvaner beguiles with plump spice, smoky, bacony and especially herbal notes on the nose. With oxygen, apple, quince and citrus join in. Cool, chalky notes give it immense tension.
Palate
What a juicy and expansive fruit on the palate. Vineyard peach, orange and ripe mango convey clear fruit sweetness and charm. In the aftertaste, we encounter fine tart notes that contrast beautifully with the overall picture. It provokes pleasantly and calls creative cooks and hobby cooks on the plan, curious sommeliers, too.
