The impetus is the development of expressive Burgundy wines and the cultivation of the small terraces and steep slopes, which date back to Roman times and which Franz Keller fought to preserve during the land consolidation in the Kaiserstuhl.
The wines and way of life of our French neighbours have always been an oenological inspiration for our family. Making wines the perfect accompaniment to good food has always been one of the central ideas of vinification.
We stand for well-fermented, fresh and fruity wines as well as for complex, mineral and full-bodied wines.
