Sparkling wine information
There is a single plot of Pinot Noir in the Clemens Busch vineyard that was planted about 30 years ago and is no larger than 1,600 m². Until the 2005 vintage, red wines were pressed from the grapes. Now it is mostly the first grapes that are harvested each year in order to keep a fresh acidity and to bring only healthy grapes into the cellar. The base wine for the Pinot Noir sparkling wine is pressed as Blanc de Noir. After 60 months of yeast storage in traditional bottle fermentation, it was disgorged at the end of September 2021.
Color/Look
Bright light red gold; fine bubbly mousseux.
Nose
The 2015 Pinot Noir sparkling wine from Busch presents itself with a vinous and charming aroma of small red berries, red apple, apple sauce, wild herbs and rosehip. Underlying is the fine aroma of toasted bread, walnuts, forest leaves and porcini mushrooms.
Palate
Juicy and compact, it glides over the tongue. Its fine and very long-lasting perlage is perfectly integrated into a juicy fruit melt. Despite the low dosage, it appears charming and fruity-sweet on the tongue, its carbonic acid challenges the taster pleasantly and brings a lot of facet and complexity into play. A perfect aperitif for the autumn months and a wonderful companion for cuisine with earthy and nutty influences.
