Info about the wine
The entry-level Pinot Noir was in used barriques for one year. In part, whole grapes were co-fermented to create a balance between fruit and herbaceousness.
Color
Muted garnet red with delicate mahogany lightening towards the rim.
Nose
The 2019 Pinot Noir Limestone and Loess is a truly beguiling wine plum, cranberry, nutty aromas, finest chalky minerality, smoky aromas, noble mushrooms and tobacco box - all extremely finely interwoven and beguiling. One is seduced by this brilliant and sensual fragrance.
Palate
On the tongue, it is an interplay between sweet, beguiling fruit, finesse and pure minerality. A Pinot Noir that grabs you with its elegance at a low price that is incomprehensible in view of the top quality. Still an absolute insider tip and a fantastic accompaniment to food. Wow!
Perfect to enjoy slightly chilled from Burgundy glasses.
