A radiant straw yellow shines brilliantly from the glass with golden reflexes and a gossamer milk glass cloudiness.

Nose:

This wine needs air!
Now this is where the minds of preference part. It is best to try the following with the first bottle: Decant half (clear) and leave the other half yeast-cloudy. Taste both with time and consideration and decide which variant appeals more.
A little introverted at first, this cuvée of white Grenache and Carignan varieties, as well as Malvasia, transforms with time and shows its sunny side. Subtle aromas of fresh kiwi and kumquat peel meet gooseberry, quince and dried apricot. All emerge very gently and are spicily underscored by turmeric, tarragon and nutmeg. Behind this densely woven nose lies a charismatic wine with a graceful coolness, not least due to the altitude of 800 metres above sea level, where the vines are at home.

Palate:

This cool elegance is confirmed when the 2017 SiurAlta Orange from Vins Nus appears on the palate. Compact and slender on the one hand, its body is characterized by a creamy, silky texture on the other. Due to the aging in amphorae, the retronasal aroma spectrum of this wine only puristically tells about its grapes and their origin. Despite a bitterness that is as discreet as it is stimulating, the wine has a pronounced juiciness and is happy to accompany herbal cuisine.
