Info about the wine
A site cuvée from the Wiesenbronn Geißberg and the Kitzingen Hofrat. This perfect blend combines the strengths of the Muschelkalk with those of the Keuper.
Info about the expansion
The vineyards were harvested on different dates to match the perfect ripening time. The grapes were pressed without standing time and fermented spontaneously in stainless steel. The malolactic fermentation took place simultaneously or directly after the alcoholic fermentation. The wines rested on the lees without sulphur until they were blended in spring 2023.
Color
Light golden yellow with clear green reflections.
Nose
On the nose, the 2022 Silvaner Gutswein presents itself fresh and discreet with notes of apple, citrus, light blossoms and a delicately chalky fragrance. Honest, clear and precise, it makes you want to take your first sip.
Palate
Freshness also determines the impression on the palate, whereby the acidity seems very mild. The fruit of apple and citrus is complemented by fine pear and honeydew melon flavours. Pleasant to enjoy solo and in combination with light herbal and vegetable cuisine.
