Update 11.05.2021
Color
The wine presents itself in the bright pink of a freshly squeezed pink grapefruit with effervescent perlage clear and shiny in the glass.
Nose
This pure Pinot Noir from Chamery Premier Cru sites is immediately expressive and open. Fragrant aromas of peony, rhubarb and carnation blossom are immediately underlined and, giving depth, strengthened by set notes of rooibos tea, dried rosehip and baked shortcrust pastry with hazelnut semolina. Subtle and straightforward, the bouquet of this vinous character champagne leaves only the simple question of what might happen on the palate.
Palate
On the palate, Bonnet-Ponson's Seconde Nature Rosé de Macération masters the difficult balancing act between refreshing, juicy and effervescent fizz and serious highbrow of a venerable yet down-to-earth wine culture.
Its finely spicy character appears compact on the palate with a delicate, yet vital perlage and is completely under the sign of a gossamer Pinot Noir. Its light-footedness, through slender body, discreet animating bitterness and an "Ahoy" calling acidity, give it at the same time an outrageously tempting, frivolous nature.
