Info about the situation
Steep slope with south-western exposure, the soil consists of clay and flint.
Color
Muted yellow with delicate golden reflections.
Nose
The 2017 Sancerre Blanc "Les Romains" shows on the one hand an intense and animating vegetal note of confit green pepper, savory and nettle, and on the other hand a lot of exotic fruit. Orange, passion fruit and sweet gooseberry dance the round dance, underpinned by flint and light tobacco notes.
Palate
Concise and intense, it shows itself on the tongue, where it pleasantly challenges the taster with its pleasantly green and tart stylistics and intense minerality. The inspiring citrus notes in the reverberation leave you wanting more and give it an extremely filigree and dancing impression despite all its intensity. In combination with fish and shellfish, you can literally hear the sea roaring.
