Info about the wine:
Steep slope with southern exposure, the clay and limestone soil is rich in "caillotte" (small stones) and flagstones.
Color:
Sparkling, light golden yellow with fine green reflexes.
Nose:
The 2018 Sancerre "Le Paradis" captivates with its intense aromas. Lime, passion fruit, mango and gooseberry compote combine with iced candy, red sugared currant and elderflower. Vegetal flavors emerge delicately and restrained, but give it a delightful lift with nettle and wild herb notes. A subtle hint of freshly ground white pepper tickles the nose. A wine with incredible presence and animating intensity, simply beautifully powerful and stimulating.
Palate:
Juicy, intense and endowed with the exotic fruit of the nose, it positively attacks our palate and envelops it. Herbal and vegetal aromas are even more evident here than on the nose. With its spiciness and power, here is a Sancerre in a class of its own in the glass, complex, profound and with real storage potential, paradisiacal in fact.
