Wine information
The fruit of Domaine Vacheron's basic Sancerre comes from all three terroirs that Sancerre has to offer, i.e. Silex, Caillottes and Terres Blanches. The Sauvignon Blanc was fermented spontaneously and matured in stainless steel.
Color
Pale straw yellow with light greenish reflections
Nose
This is a Sancerre like something out of a picture book. It is fresh, juicy and aromatic, light-hearted and cheerful, but also sophisticated. It smells of gooseberries ripened to the point, green kiwi and mirabelles, some citrus, flint and petrichor.
Mouth
On the palate, the Sauvignon Blanc presents itself just as classically as in the aroma. Fresh, juicy, cool and chalky, the wine is green-fruity, citrusy, but also with slight hints of oats, yeast and wet stone. In addition, there is exactly the dose of mineral, lively acidity that one expects from a wine. Sancerre of this type is expected.
