Nose
A youthful and fresh potpourri of light and dark fruits flows into the nose of the 2015 Saint Aubin Rouge "Le Ban" immediately after pouring. Red and black currants, sour cherries and blackberries make the start and aromas of freshly ground pepper, juniper and a well-dosed fine wood spice join in. Floral scents of violets and ivy give it an elegant and feminine touch.
Palate
Fruity, drinkable and animating, the 2015 Saint Aubin Rouge "Le Ban" shows itself on the tongue, here again we meet the fresh fruit of the nose in combination with fine graphite notes, a fine-grained tannin structure and a refreshing acidity. With this wine, one can indulge in the pleasure of wine and serve it with the uncomplicated and at the same time refined bistro cuisine of France.
