Nose
The nose presents itself extremely sublime. Black fruits like blackberry and plum, some cassis and elderberries characterize this noble Sangiovese. A dark, chocolaty nuance crowns the aroma. Spices like cinnamon and juniper, but above all delicately integrated liquorice are added. Also some leather and a gentle roast aroma become noticeable. The wood seems to be perfectly integrated.
Palate
On the palate, the Sangiovese is cool and racy. It has mineral components and a perfectly integrated tannin. The tannins are gripping, but soft and ripe. Mouth-filling and very harmonizing, it spreads out. The tannin nails itself and does not let go of the palate. As a result, it allows itself a seemingly endless finish. The play of aromas from the nose comes through wonderfully. It comes across as very fleshy, accompanied by a delicate liquorice note and directly whets the appetite.
