Update 11.05.2021
Color
The wine presents itself in finely polished copper with bronze rim clear and shiny in the glass.
Nose
Straightforward and fresh on the nose, the wine doesn't seem put upon. Red gooseberries and currants line up next to the scent of cedar peel, sour cherry and a juicy red apple. Discreetly exotic, this rosé made from Zweigelt grapes is enriched in its aroma spectrum by subtle notes of tonka bean, a hint of ginger speculoos and white chocolate.
Palate
With bright fruit jumping around with joy, the 2019 Rosé from Zweigelt by Weingut Fritsch romps across the palate and wants to play.
Pomegranate, grapefruit and guava are added on the palate as an alliteration of aromas. However, without becoming compottig or kitschy, because the wine tastes consistently dry and puts the concentrated load of fruit in relation by a sparse reverberation.
