Information about wine

The Côtes du Rhône blanc, the basic wine of Vincent Rochette, is a cuvee of 60 % Grenache blanc, 20 % Viognier as well as 10 % Clairette and Bourboulenc each. The 20 to 30 year old vines are located in Buisson in a four hectare vineyard characterized by clay and limestone in the subsoil and alluvial alluvium and gravel in the topsoil. The yield is around 30 hl per hectare. The wine is fermented spontaneously and matures to one third in wood and to two thirds in stainless steel.

The character is directly reminiscent of the southern Rhône varieties with their notes of fragrant flowers, lanolin, fennel seeds and liquorice.
