The Grappa di Barolo 45% Vol. Alcohol
All an experienced distiller needs to turn marc into a great distillate is intuition and patience. And so it is not surprising that the Grappa di Barolo was aged for a whole ten years in the best oak before being bottled.
The bouquet is reminiscent in the best manner of its Piedmontese origins and of serious Nebbiolo Fine, yeasty fragrance, a bit of anrosed cherry, dried herbs, fragrant hay and, at the very back, in the off, the finest Tahitian vanilla due to the careful ageing in oak barrels.
The Grappa di Barolo also sets standards with its mouthfeel. The fabulous experience begins quite unagitated with aromas of apricot and stone fruit. Its round, full and warm body fills the palate. The well-integrated alcohol grips firmly in an inimitable way and does not let the taste disappear from the palate for a very long time.
Devilish work and heavenly pleasure!
