Wine information
The grapes come from the historic Valpolicella Classico zones of Marano and Fumane and grow on clay and limestone. They were fermented with wild yeasts.
Color
Sparkling violet-red with garnet-red brightenings towards the rim.
Nose
The 2020 Valpolicella Ripasso Malavoglia smells of sweet sour cherry juice, pickled blueberries, cassis liqueur, lavender and violets. Equally sweet impressions are conveyed by the aroma of vanilla, cinnamon and nougat chocolate. A hint of eucalyptus and mint is also present.
Palate
On the palate, it is sweet and charming, with a refreshing acidity that, in combination with the herbal notes of the nose, gives it elegance and finesse. A wine that provides uncomplicated drinking pleasure and also delights wine beginners.
