Color
Bright straw yellow, bright reflections
Nose
At first it seems stony and cool. A little tangerine skin and grapefruit appear. Fresh garden herbs, above all lemon balm and lemon thyme, conjure up a green-yellow play of aromas. With a little oxygen, a note of currants also develops in the glass. Above all, however, it leaves a shy and restrained impression. However, the great potential can be guessed.
Palate
For a 2018, it presents itself exceptionally delicate and little impressed by the many hours of sunshine in this exceptional vintage. Drinking animating and juicy, it quickly finds its way. Lightly dancing on the tongue with a precisely worked out acid structure. It clearly underpins its Rheingau origins in its taste. Slim in its figure, but demanding on the palate with a lot of traction.
