Info about the situation
The "Lene" of the Pfingstbach gives the name to this site, whose vineyards gently descend into the stream valley with a slight south-west slope. Fertile clayey loess is interspersed here with ferruginous red quartzite veins. "Eiserberg" was therefore an old vineyard name of Lenchen, referring to this geological peculiarity. The early mists of the Pfingstbach favour the spread of Botrytis Cinerea - ideal conditions for the creation of noble sweet wines.
Info about the expansion
Fermented spontaneously, matured in stainless steel tanks.
Color
Bright sparkling golden yellow with delicate green reflections.
Nose
The 2020 Riesling Lenchen Kabinett smells of apple, vineyard peach, citrus, lime zest and earthy, chalky depth. Here a wine announces itself with wonderful liveliness, facet and a delicate smoky note that combines with a fascinating fragrance of wild flowers and herbs.
Palate
On the tongue, it captivates with a brilliant sweetness-acidity play, its fantastic fruit and juiciness. An exceedingly fine wine that animates drinking, with a delicate 10.0 vol%. Inspiring food companion, which brings unagitated pleasure and great joy, also with food.
