Color
Sparkling golden yellow
Nose
What fireworks! A whole potpourri gathers in the glass. Ripe, yellow stone fruit paired with lime zest, kaffir lime and marjoram. The juicy ripe stone fruit makes a huge impact on this image. Notes of ripe, exotic fruits like pineapple and cantaloupe melon also develop. The citrus notes suggest a cool freshness. A slight hint of lemon balm, a little honey as well as hints of turmeric round off this impression.
Palate
Consistent on the palate, as Kühn has always been known for. The full fruit concentration, which could be assumed from the nose, bundles itself in a beam full of length, finesse and depth. A superbly integrated phenolic structure makes for a serious wine that, far from primary fruit, brings out plenty of stony, almost salty notes. Delicate acidity peaks noticeably enliven this moment. Of course, this GG still shows the ripe stone fruit and green lime, but it brings across emotion and mouthfeel above all. This is diverse, vibrant brimming with energy.
The Jungfer GG pressurefully makes its way into a seemingly endless finale.
