Color
Pale straw yellow, green reflections and silver fading rim.
Nose
The nose of the 2013 Brand von Zind-Humbrecht is concentrated and powerful. Only the oldest vines of the Grand Cru site are used, their harvest is correspondingly late. In the nose notes of ripe stone fruit paired with ethereal components. Spices such as fenugreek, coriander and white pepper mingle with pear peel, apricots and peach. A wine that gains freshness and length from the typical 2013 acidity. Perfect goods for storage, to drink now necessarily caraffieren.
Mouth
Viscous on the nose, slightly oily with a firm structure. The wine is dry as dust despite its first sensory impression, extracts provide the sensation on the palate. The acidity is perfectly packed, giving the wine length and contour. Juicy, punchy with high inner tension, it already announces the delights that a few years of bottle ageing will bring to light.
