If you pay as much attention to your terroir, analyse and cultivate it as Recaredo does, you will eventually want to produce still wines from the interplay of the best soils and native grape varieties, biodynamic cultivation and manual processing. For this purpose, the family founded the Celler Credo in the mid-1990s, whose logo is adorned with the meadowfoam found in the vineyards. In the meantime, there are about eight hectares of vineyards, which are mainly reserved for the Xarel-lo and a little bit also for the Macabeu. The vines are planted on loam, lime and gravel, the grapes are always fermented spontaneously and often with extended maceration times up to an orange wine appearance, sometimes also as Pét Nats and always with the lowest sulphur additions or completely without sulphites. "Xarel-lo is our credo" is the winery's motto.
