Nose
The 2018 Pouilly-Vinzelles Climat "Les Quarts" presents itself with finely woven aromatics on the nose. Firm woody pear, apple, lots of quince and apricot, combine with delicate hints of anise and fine minerality. With the necessary oxygen contact, the preceding subtle use of wood pleasantly emerges.
Palate
Juicy and dancing, the 2018 Pouilly-Vinzelles Climat "Les Quarts" appears on the tongue with a fine salinity. Its lively acidity comes to bear very nicely, it appears filigree and floating, pure Burgundian finesse that can be enjoyed solo or in combination with a fine cuisine.
Drink decanted, not too cold from a large glass.
