Nose
The 2018 Pouilly Fumé from Alphose Mellot already shows power impressively on the nose. In addition to pear, grapefruit, apple and walnut, it is the flint notes and oyster shell that characterize its fragrance. Animating green notes of bell pepper, artichoke and elderberry pulp are captured by peppery notes.
Palate
Also at the palate much power, melting, fullness and length, the acid well integrated, the reverberation long. A white wine, which is quite looking for challenges in the food combination and may be combined with dark meat.
