Wine information
The Garnacha comes from the four-hectare Finca Les Planetes Porrera. Fermented spontaneously and aged for seven months in 700-litre and 1,100-litre cellar amphorae.
Color
Crimson
Nose
The fresh fruity and slightly acidic notes of the Garnacha characterize this wine from the amphora. Dried cherries combine with plums, red currants and barberries. In addition, one thinks of a salty sea breeze, of blood oranges, violet flowers and a little of bright tobacco, of oats and of damp burnt clay.
Mouth
On the palate, the unsulphured wine has the typical silky tannin that comes from the aging in the amphora. The wine is very fresh and shows an undisguised juiciness and fruit of much dark, but also slender, even taut fruit with a straightforward structure. It is also incredibly energetic and tonic with vibrant liveliness, a crisp cherry fruit, with zest and the flesh of blood oranges, combined with dried herbs and a slightly exotic spice.
