Nose
A quite typical Pinot Gris nose. The Pinot gris from Zind-Humbrecht conveys fullness and power. Ripe apricot and pineapple as well as a little banana can be found in the nose, also some tangerine or orange. With a little temperature, there is also a nuance that makes you think of exotic spices.
Palate
From the first sip, the aroma on the palate is completely different than expected. The Pinot gris makes its way with pressure. With only a slight melting, it seems lighter and brighter than expected on the nose. Tangerine peel, orange and tart orange jam now dominate the aromatic picture, with apricot and the spices from the nose also coming to the fore. The exoticism fades somewhat. Acidity is only discreetly perceptible.
