Color
As the sparkling amber shines, so does the Pinot Gris Furstentum "Le Tri" 2007 in the same magnificent shade.

Bouquet
The fragrance that emanates from this wine is almost unsurpassed in intensity. A delicious bouquet of sun-drenched, caramelised fruits, with apples, quinces and oranges at the forefront, captivates the connoisseur. Notes that make us think of sweet, sticky fir honey, gingerbread at Christmas time, crunchy brittle and velvety soft nougat chocolate join in.

Palate
At the first sip, the Pinot Gris Furstentum "Le Tri" 2007 unfolds an aromatic spectacle on the palate that evokes memories of dried apricots and dates. An intense, almost seductive sweetness is concise. But the sweet elixir retains one last trump card for the aftertaste - a fine, almost unobtrusive note of acidity. It gives this already exceptional wine additional depth and complexity.

Suggested dishes
This wine is excellent with a game terrine, coated in juicy dates and served with black walnuts and a fruity bread. A roasted duck liver without stuffing, garnished with caramelised oranges, can also form a flavourful duet with this wine. A fir honey parfait accompanied by pickled plums rounds off the selection. For cheese lovers, red smear or blue cheese varieties such as Munster, Maroilles, Epoisses or Fourme d' Ambert are recommended, with dried quince or another piece of fruit bread.
