Color
Light golden yellow with delicate pearly reflections.
Nose
Wow! What a freshness the 2017 Pinot Gris Furstentum Grand Cru conveys on the nose lemon zest, mint, coriander and ginger pair with fresh grapefruit, apple, orange elderflower and broom. In the background, noble light tobacco and laurel are hinted at, which will still emerge very nicely with further maturity.
Palate
On the palate, it presents itself with sweet citrus aromas and a creamy melt, finely interwoven with a stimulating acidity and fine tannin structure. The clearly stimulating spice note in the aftertaste gives it a lot of play and finesse in combination with the pronounced minerality.
Decant if possible and enjoy from a larger glass.
