Wine information
The grapes for the Pinot Noir sparkling wine Blanc de Noirs are harvested in the slightly higher, cooler Pinot Noir vineyards, such as in the upper Hallgarten, at the beginning of the harvest. After the spontaneous fermentation of the base wine, the traditional bottle fermentation takes place with 24 months of storage on the yeast in the bottle. Disgorgement was from July 2021 with 2.9 g/l dosage.
Color
intense straw yellow with fine mousseux
Nose
The Blanc de Noirs is a clear, elegant and pure sparkling wine with lots of lemon and some lemon tart, pear, quince, red apple and red currants as well as a par of kumquats and rock.
Palate
On the palate, the sparkling wine appears energetic, it is a vital and juicy wine with light tannin and a lively, clear, fresh medium-fine mousseux, which, together with the acid structure, provides a certain liveliness. Again, bright citrus notes, some stone fruit and red berries combine to create a crisp fruit that is buffered by a discreet three grams of residual sweetness. This is a well-balanced, easy-drinking and seductive wine. Blanc de Noirs.
