Color
Garnet red with ruby lightening towards the rim.
Nose
The 2019 Pinot Noir from Peter Jakob Kühn appears very fine on the nose. In addition to raspberry, cherry, quince jelly, red apple and plum, fine graphite notes, undergrowth, Mediterranean herbs and delicate smoky hints emerge. All aromas are elegantly interwoven and beguile the taster. Floral hints of elderberry and peony reinforce its feminine character.
Palate
Playful and elegant, with berry fruit and fine fruit sweetness, it hits the tongue. Its acidity is stimulating, delicate and perfectly mature, as is its fine-grained tannin structure. A truly enchanting Pinot Noir that can be enjoyed lightly chilled and wonderfully solo or with fine food.
